# Interpretwise > Interpretwise is an AI-powered simultaneous interpretation platform. For live events, attendees scan a QR code, pick their language, and hear the speaker interpreted in real time - directly on their phone, about 5 seconds behind the speaker. No interpreter booths, no hardware, no app download required. Full event setup takes ~15 minutes. The same platform runs multilingual video meeting rooms and offline transcription and dubbing of recorded audio and video. Interpretwise serves conferences, webinars, corporate town halls, trade shows, hybrid events, NGO sessions, and government meetings. It replaces expensive traditional simultaneous interpretation booths and equipment with AI that works on any smartphone. ## Products - Live event interpretation: one clean audio feed from the stage (USB interface, mixing console, Zoom/Teams/Webex or any platform that outputs audio) is transcribed, translated and voiced into 80+ languages in about 5 seconds. Attendees listen on their own phones via QR code with live captions; each language can also be returned as line-level or Dante audio for existing IR/FM receivers, and as a transparent caption overlay (browser source) for OBS, vMix, projectors and LED walls. Sessions can be recorded per channel (original plus every interpreted language). - Hybrid AI + human interpretation: channels are mixed per language - AI for some languages, professional human interpreters for others. Interpreters work remotely through a browser-based console with booth-partner handover and relay, protected by a per-event code. - Multilingual meeting rooms: browser-based video meetings with live AI interpretation per participant - up to 50 on-camera participants plus listen-only attendees, speaker video, screen sharing. Everyone picks the language they speak and the language they listen in, hears everyone else interpreted into their own language with the original voice underneath, and can switch language mid-meeting. Guests join by link with no account; admission is open-link or invited-only with a waiting room. A venue can join as one participant (stage mix in, PA out) to make a hybrid stage. - Recordings (offline transcription and dubbing): upload audio or video, get a batch transcript with per-word confidence, review and correct it in an editor with find-and-replace and glossaries, then create dubs into any language with Standard or Premium AI voices (original voice removed, ducked or mixed), or subtitle-only runs. Outputs: dubbed MP3, or the original format (MP4/MOV/MKV video, WAV audio) with SRT/VTT/TXT subtitle files; transcripts export as SRT, VTT or TXT.
